Chloe San Jose Courageously Reveals Past Of Domestic Violence

Chloe San Jose Opens Up About Overcoming Domestic Violence

CHLOE SAN JOSE – Content creator Chloe talked about the severe hardships she had as a teenager, such as her encounters with domestic abuse and the impact it had on her mental health.

Chloe Anjeleigh San Jose recently opened up about her challenging journey from trauma to resilience in an emotional interview with Toni Gonzaga Studio. Chloe shared the deep struggles she faced during her teenage years, including her experiences with domestic violence and how it affected her mental health.

“I experienced po domestic violence,” Chloe revealed, offering a glimpse into the pain she endured. Although she did not delve into specifics, she described how both physical and verbal abuse took a heavy toll on her emotional well-being. “Kaya po noong 16, gusto ko na talagang umalis po. Pero since minor po ako, I couldn’t. So, naghintay pa po ako ng two years mag-18 para po makaalis po ko,” she added, reflecting on how powerless she felt until she could legally leave.

During her high school years in Australia, Chloe threw herself into school and extracurricular activities to avoid spending time at home. She immersed herself in these outlets, as home life became more difficult to endure.

A significant turning point came during a heated family argument over dinner, which made her realize that she needed to escape for her own mental health. Despite her efforts to reconcile with her mother, their attempts often led to more conflicts, creating a toxic cycle that Chloe found unbearable.

“Nagkausap naman po kami, nag-try, pero hindi po talaga nag-work. Parang pattern na po ganoon pa rin,” Chloe explained. Realizing that the relationship wasn’t improving, she decided to leave the environment for her own well-being. For seven months, Chloe found refuge at her best friend’s house, where she stayed until she completed her high school education.

True to her promise, Chloe later returned to bring her teenage sister with her, determined to protect her from the same toxic environment.

Reflecting on her journey, Chloe shared that her resilience and strength, which are often misunderstood by many, are products of her difficult past. “Kaya po siguro iyon nami-misunderstood ‘yung tapang ko po kasi nga po they don’t know naman what happened sa early childhood ko po,” she said, revealing how her painful experiences shaped her strong character today.
