Enzo Almario Asserts GMA Had Nothing To Do w/ His Harassment Complaint

Enzo Almario shared a post about what happened to him when he was 12 years old

Former SugarPop member Enzo Almario asserted that GMA Network had nothing to do with his harassment complaint.

To recall, Enzo was one of the young singers who became a member of SugarPop which was formed by musical director and vocal arranger Danny Tan in 2006. This group performed in the Kapuso defunct musical variety show SOP Rules.

After years of not being acting in the entertainment scene, Enzo recently surfaced and caught the attention of the online community.

It was because Enzo Almario was featured by singer-actor Gerald Santos on his YouTube channel. Prior to this, Gerald made a shocking revelation about the alleged harassment that Danny Tan did to him when he was 15 years old.

With this, Gerald said that other victims of the musical director approached him and talked about their alleged harassment experiences.

Eventually, Gerald presented Enzo as one of the alleged victims of Danny. They spoke about this with their legal counsel. It was also said that there were other victims aside from them.

However, based on the article in PEP, Enzo Almario clarified something about what happened to him. He stressed that GMA Network was not involved in his complaint against Danny Tan. Through his Instagram Story, he said, “Hi, I just want to clarify something. GMA Network had no involvement in what happened to me.”

Enzo also said that if GMA knew about this, he was sure that the network would take action. “As far as I know, the person involved worked with GMA Network, but wasn’t actually part of the network,” he said.

Enzo Almario stressed that he knows his purpose and intention in speaking up. He said that if his decision to be an inspiration to other victims to fight also will receive unsupportive reactions from other people, then he will accept it.
