Piolo Pascual Talks About MMFF Movie With Vic Sotto

Piolo Pascual and Vic Sotto to have their first movie together

Kapamilya A-list actor Piolo Pascual talked about his Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) movie with Eat Bulaga host Vic Sotto.

Piolo has done different projects throughout the course of his career in the Philippine entertainment industry. He also shared the same frame with different prominent stars in showbiz.

He has showcased his acting caliber with different series and movie genres in the past. Another milestone that Piolo will have this year is his movie with Bossing Vic.

The veteran comedian-host will have his MMFF comeback this year. In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Piolo Pascual expressed excitement for his project with Vic Sotto.

The A-list actor said that it gives him a certain feeling of happiness that he will be part of a worthwhile movie that will not just be shown in the Philippines but also internationally. MMFF entries are now being brought to an international audience through the Manila International Film Festival (MIFF).

With MIFF, I hope that there are more projects or more films that we can showcase to the world to really just empower us, to have something that we can be proud of as Filipinos,” Piolo shared.

The Kapamilya actor also shared what he feels knowing that he will be in a movie with Bossing Vic, especially since it is one of the MMFF entries this year.

Piolo shared that he grew up watching the veteran comedian-host and sharing the same frame with Bossing Vic, so he has to set aside being a fan. “So I have to deal with it and cross the bridge when I’m already there because we have a lot of scenes together,” he added.

Piolo Pascual and Vic Sotto will star in the movie The Kingdom under the direction of director Michael Tuviera and this will be produced by APT Entertainment. The A-list actor shared that when the director pitched this project to Bossing, he immediately said “yes.”

A few days later, it was pitched to Piolo and he said yes also. The pre-production meetings happened within weeks. With this, Piolo said that everything fell into place. He and Vic were both busy but there was this one project that they could make happen.

I thought hindi ako magpi-filmfest this year because I did so much last year pero nung pumasok, okay trabaho tayo sa Pasko,” the Kapamilya actor said,
