In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Pinky Amador talked about her Morgana character who has been the center of hate from afternoon drama viewers because of what she is doing to the lives of the main characters.

Ay naku, isa sa pinakamasaya, pinakamahirap, pinaka-challenging, and pinaka-rewarding,” she said. Pinky said that she has done heavy roles in the past but this one is really different because she had to do heavy scenes consecutively.

She pointed out that her character Moira “died” and Morgana came. With this, another set of challenges was awaiting because of her plan to take revenge with the intention of making her family whole again.

When asked which character is more challenging, she said that it is Moira because Morgana is just assuming what Moira started. “Hindi siya… siya talaga si Moira na nagpapanggap lamang. The moment na gumawa siya ng bagay na masama, siya pagbibintangan,” the seasoned actress said.

Pinky Amador was also asked about the resemblance of Morgana to dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo.

For the story continuity, Moira had to come back with a stolen identity in order for her to still be safe and do what she wanted to do. Since the issue about Guo has become a national issue, the production team decided to use this.

So, isa sa mga naisip nila is stolen identity, so nandoon na yung thought balloon na stolen identity, sabay sumabog yung issue sa Senado. So sabi nila, ito na yun, nangyayari na ng totoo, why can’t we use it? It’s happening in real life,” Pinky Amador explained.

She shared that when she read the script, she laughed and she trusted their director. The actress is also aware that this garnered different reactions. Some thought that it was a spoof or a prank.
