Gabby Concepcion and Sharon Cuneta will have their ‘Dear Heart’ concert abroad
Seasoned actor Gabby Concepcion admitted that he turned down a lot of reunion movie offers with his ex-wife Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
Gabby and Sharon were loveteam partners before they became a couple in real life. Last year, the former couple had their reunion on stage with their Dear Heart concert series. This concert will have its US and Canada leg and in a recent interview, Gabby was asked if their daughter KC Concepcion will be part of their concert in the States.
Based on the article in PEP, the seasoned actor said that this depends on the producer. However, he said that it would be great if KC would be part of his and Sharon’s Dear Heart concert because KC is part of this.
Gabby Concepcion and Sharon Cuneta’s first movie was Dear Heart. “Kung meron kang tinanim na puno na magpuprutas… tinanim ay Dear Heart, ang bunga nun ay si KC. Napakasarap sana na maano natin na makakasama natin si KC,” the seasoned actor said.
In the same interview, Gabby shared that he is now focused on doing teleseryes on GMA. He said that there had been movie offers for him but there was nothing yet that caught his attention. The actor wanted something different, a project that he had not done yet in the past.
Among these movie offers, were reunion movie offers with Sharon. Gabby said that he is open to doing a movie with his ex-wife but he has not encountered a script that he really likes to do.
The actor said that the most important thing to him is the story of the movie. “Hindi lang porke, ‘Ahh may pelikula kami ni Sharon. Ahh yung movies namin nag-click. Ahh ki-click ito,’ hindi! Dapat maganda rin ang istoya para sa kanila din naman, para sa atin din. Para pag napanood natin, you feel good. We all feel good,” he said.
Gabby Concepcion shared that he turned down several Sharon-Gabby movie offers because of the stories which had the same pattern as what he already done before.
