Angelica Yulo Conveys Sincere Thanks After Being Granted “Ulirang Ina Award”
ANGELICA YULO – Carlos Yulo’s mom Angelica Yulo expressed deep gratitude after being granted the “Ulirang Ina” award.
Angelica Yulo is the mother of renowned gymnast from the Philippines Carlos Edriel Yulo. Caloy is known for his remarkable performances in various gymnastics competitions, particularly in the vault and floor exercises.
Carlos began training at the age of seven and had the opportunity to study and train in Japan. He is the first Filipino to win a gold medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in 2019. Carlos brought home two gold medals from the 2024 Paris Olympics.
On September 14, Angelica Yulo received the “Inspiring Motherhood Legacy Award” or “Ulirang Ina Award,” which was bestowed upon her by the Southeast Asian Achievement Awards. Angelica is one of the honorees for this year’s award given by the said organization.
Angelica was accompanied by her husband, Mark, as she accepted the award.

Angelica expressed her heartfelt gratitude, but this was the only statement she made in the video shared by Joseph Ople Canabuan. It can be recalled that the Southeast Asian Achievement Awards announcement, which included Angelica as one of the awardees, was initially met with criticism.
