Pia Wurtzbach posted a content that is not hers
Did Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach steal a content from a fashion site? This question was raised after the online community noticed the video she posted which was identical to another site’s post.
Before being a beauty queen, Pia was a talent of ABS-CBN and did some supporting roles. Her popularity skyrocketed in the world of pageantry. She joined Binibining Pilipinas thrice and eventually got the Miss Universe-Philippines title.
Pia gained international fame after winning the third Miss Universe crown for the Philippines. After winning, she did some showbiz projects and eventually, she ventured into the world of fashion.
Pia Wurtzbach has been attending major fashion events abroad and this is something that makes her fans proud. Her social media pages are pretty much occupied by her stints as a fashion influencer.
However, a recent post that she shared was criticized. She shared a video of a Carolina Herrera fashion show. In a post shared by social media page Sashes & Scripts Official, it can be seen that undeniable similarity between Pia’s post and the post shared by @stylenotcom.
In Pia’s caption, she did not credit anyone. Based on Sashes & Scripts Official, the the fashion site’s post was two days ahead of Pia’s post.
Apparently, Pia noticed the netizens’ negative reaction to her post and she edited the caption. In her updated post, she wrote “Video @stylenotcom.”
This was shared on a popular showbiz site and netizens slammed the Miss Universe 2015. Some netizens expressed disappointment that she resorted to this kind of action while some criticized her for doing this just for content.
A netizen said that Pia deleted the comments from netizens on her post saying that the video was originally from @stylenotcom. For some, this is not a question anymore because Pia showed that in her edited caption, she added where the video came from after she was called out.
A netizen asked if this really a big deal. Many netizens pointed out that posting other site’s content without crediting is simply unethical.
