Actor Derek Ramsay said that he would never disrespect actor John Lloyd Cruz when asked about Elias.
Elias is John Lloyd’s son with Ellen Adarna, who is now married to Derek. It is obvious through social media posts that Derek has a good relationship with Elias. Ellen loves to share their bonding moments.
Just recently, the female celebrity even shared in a recent post that Derek had to take the blood test first because Elias was scared to do it.
In a recent interview on showbiz insider Morly Alinio’s YouTube channel, Derek Ramsay expressed how he loves Elias and how he is as a father figure to the kid. With Elias’s adorable personality, the actor said that he is indeed lovable.
“Elias is a beautiful child. Ang sarap niyang kasama. May problema ka na sa sarili mo kung hindi mo kayang mahalin ‘tong batang ‘to. He’s a great kid. So for me, it was just natural for me to fall in love with this boy as part of Ellen,” Derek said.
The actor also debunked the allegation that he is just pretending to be good to Elias. He stressed that this is not “acting.” Derek stressed that even during his honeymoon trip with Ellen, they brought Elias with them. He added that he always asked for Elias’s presence.
When asked how his relationship with John Lloyd is, Derek said, “Wala naman kaming problema.”
He said that they are not best friends but they are not enemies as well. Derek shared that now Elias is in school, and the kid is with them from Monday to Friday while he is spending time with John Lloyd during weekends.
The actor also said that Ellen and John Lloyd have a good co-parenting relationship. He also clarified that he is not taking away from John Lloyd the “father” role.
“No, I would never disrespect him, I know my place. Kumbaga, second best, hanggang du’n lang ako,” Derek Ramsay said.
