Netizens wondered why this co-host of Willie Revillame was not on the show anymore
Singer-host MJ Cayabcab, one of the co-hosts of Willie Revillame on Wil To Win, hinted at the reason for leaving the show.
Willie officially made his TV comeback this year through his new show on TV5. This has the same format with his former shows and featured a new set of co-hosts such as Ana Ramsey, Cindy Miranda, Inday Fatima, Christine Bermas, Roberta Tamondong, Gab Basiano, Boobsie Wonderland, Donita Nose, Sam Verzosa, and MJ Cayabyab.
However, in the recent episodes of the show, it appeared that avid viewers noticed the absence of MJ and received messages from fans.
The singer-host addressed this through his post on his Facebook Page. He explained that he resigned from the show for a personal reason. He apologized for disappointing the viewers and he also thanked them.
MJ stressed that he is okay and people don’t need to worry about him. He said that his childhood dream came true after all. “Thankyou everyone. This is MJ cayabyab your #wiltowin co host now signing off,” Willie Revillame’s co-host said in his post.
MJ received support from netizens in the comment section of his post. He also replied to some netizens which, based on the article in PEP, appeared to be hinting at the reason for his resignation.
A netizen commented, “Aww babe! Ang busy rin kase anooo. Pang teleserye and movie daw ulit next!” and this received a reply from MJ. He said, “super babe.” Aside from being a singer and a host, MJ is also a content creator and entrepreneur.
Another netizen commented that he should take a rest for now and then, fight again. MJ agreed with this netizen’s comment.
Meanwhile, a few months after Wil To Win started airing, the show became controversial because Willie Revillame reprimanded the staff on air. He eventually apologized for this.
