A poser of Joel Lamangan shared this post about Ahron Villena
Veteran Joel Lamangan was defended by his colleagues against a poser’s post which appeared to be an answer to actor Ahron Villena’s revelation.
Direk Joel became controversial just recently because of his statement that harassment in showbiz has been happening for a long time already and this kind of incident was often not revealed or reported.
This statement came after the controversial harassment complaint filed by Sparkle artist Sandro Muhlach and singer-actor Gerald Santos.
Direk Joel’s statement appeared to have received a comment from Ahron Villena. The actor shared on his social media pages the story about a director who recently shared a statement on harassment in showbiz.
Ahron claimed that the said director. who allegedly sounded proud that there is harassment in showbiz, also did an inappropriate act to him.
After this, a screenshot of Direk Joel Lamangan’s Facebook post circulated online. In the said post, the director debunked Ahron Villena’s claim and that the actor liked what was done to him also.
However, Direk Joel stressed that he did not share that post and it was just from a poser. His colleagues also defended him. Line producer Dennis Evangelista stressed in a Facebook post that Direk Joel has no statement about the actor’s claim and that this is not how the director would express his thoughts.
Screenwriter and director Ronaldo Carballo also defended Direk Joel. In his post, Ronaldo said that he personally verified this with Direk Joel and it was a blatantly fake post. He also said that Direk Joel will never answer back to a “starlet” like Ahron who allegedly wanted to ride on the issue involving Sandro Muhlach.
“Magtigil ka [Ahron Villena]! Tama na ang pakikisakay sa isyu at paggamit ng tao para mapag-usapan ka lang. Wala kang mapapala sa ganyan!” Ronaldo said.
