David Licauco was asked about the newest addition to the cast of ‘Pulang Araw’
Kapuso actor David Licauco shared his reaction when he saw Japanese actress Maria Ozawa on the set of their series Pulang Araw.
The Pambansang Ginoo plays the character of Hiroshi Tanaka in the Kapuso primetime series which tells about the sufferings of many Filipinos during the Japanese occupation. Previously, he played the character of Fidel in the Kapuso series Maria Clara at Ibarra in which he gained the “Pambansang Ginoo” tag.
His unexpected onscreen partnership with Barbie Forteza became a big hit. They are now known as the BarDa loveteam. They are also onscreen partners in Pulang Araw.
David Licauco recently shared a photo of his character on his Instagram page. This came with his family photo. “Hiroshi Tanaka & fam,” the Kapuso actor wrote in the caption of his post.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Balita, the Kapuso actor was asked about his reaction when he finally met Maria Ozawa. David admitted that he had that “starstruck” feeling.
“Actually paakyat dito nakita ko si Maria Ozawa. Nagulat ako na nandyan siya saka ang ganda niya,” he sahred.
To recall, David became a trending topic on social media last January because of what he answered during his guesting on Family Feud. The question was about the popular personalities with the name “Maria”.
After this, Maria Ozawa shared her reaction through a post on her Instagram Story featuring David’s moment on the popular game show. The Japanese actress said, “He’s so cute” in the caption of her post.
Meanwhile, David Licauco previously shared that he was also overwhelmed when he did his first scene with Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards who is one of the main cast members of Pulang Araw.
