Jinggoy Estrada Asks Niño Muhlach, ‘Paano nalaman ni Ogie Diaz?’

Jinggoy Estrada wondered why Ogie Diaz knew about what happened to Sandro Muhlach

Senator Jinggoy Estrada asked seasoned actor Niño Muhlach how talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz knew about what happened to Sparkle artist Sandro Muhlach.

The issue about Sandro started with a blind item. A social media page shared a blind item about a newbie actor who was allegedly harassed by two gays after the GMA Gala 2024.

Allegedly, the two gays told the newbie actor to go to their hotel room. A showbiz news site also shared a blind item about this stating that there was a harassment attempt. After that, Ogie shared a cryptic post saying that it was not “muntik.” The talent manager-vlogger said that something really happened.

Netizens started to guess the identity of the newbie actor and some of them mentioned the name of Sandro Muhlach. Eventually, Ogie Diaz talked about this on his Showbiz Update vlog. he said that the 23-year-old actor was traumatized by what happened and he was “diring-diri” to himself.

During the Senate hearing for the discussion on the “Policies of  Television Networks and Artist Management Agencies in Relation to Complaints of Abuse and Harassment, Niño Muhlach said that the first thing they did was to reach out to Sen. Bong Revilla and suggested that they could file a complaint at the National Bureau of Investigation, based on the video shared by The Philippine Star.

The former Child Wonder also shared that they were trying to fix the issue internally as they met with GMA Network’s Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes.

Sen. Jinggoy Estrada asked how the media knew about the issue. Niño said, “unang lumabas kay Ogie Diaz.” He also said that they were wondering how to handle this issue internally when they also intend to file a case because the media will easily catch this.

Then, Sen. Jinggoy asked, “Paano nalaman ni Ogie Diaz?” Niño said that he did not know how Ogie knew about this. He added that although he talked to Ogie after the issue surfaced, he said that their camp was not the source of the talent manager-vlogger regarding this matter. “Hindi po galing sa amin talaga eh,” he said, adding that there were other witnesses.
