Jessy Mendiola did not let this negative comment pass
Kapamilya actress Jessy Mendiola fired back at the basher of her daughter Baby Rosie on her recent Instagram post.
Jessy is one of her generation’s most beautiful female celebrities in Philippine showbiz. Just recently, she signed a new contract with ABS-CBN after taking a break for several years. She is now happily married to TV host Luis Manzano and they have a beautiful child named Isabella Rose Tawile Manzano.
The cute little girl is nicknamed Peanut or Rosie. Jessy and Luis would sometimes showcase their daughter in their social media posts.
In a recent Instagram post, Jessy Mendiola shared her photo with Baby Rosie. The post was to say thank you to Luis Manzano who gave both of them bouquets of red roses. “We love you, Papa. Thank you for always making us feel kilig,” the actress wrote in the caption of her post.
Many netizens loved the gesture of Luis to the two wonderful women in his life and a netizen pointed out that Baby Rosie’s smile also showed how “kilig” she was to receive flowers from her dad.
However, some netizens expressed negative reactions. “Parang ang payat ng [baby] nila,” a netizen commented and used a face with rolling eyes emoji. Jessy slammed the netizen by saying it is already 2024 and the netizen is still commenting on someone else’s body.
Another netizen said that Baby Rosie is just two years old but her eyebags are already too visible. Jessy did not let this negative comment pass too. She pointed out that it is in their genes since she is half-Lebanese.
“I-ayon po nating ang ganda sa panlalait, tingnan niyo po muna sarili niyo sa salamin. Salamat,” the actress retaliated.
