The camp of GMA contractors has this statement about Sandro Muhlach
The legal counsel of GMA independent contractors Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz claimed that Sparkle artist Sandro Muhlach sent his message.
Sandro has opened up a controversial topic in the entertainment industry. The newbie actor, the son of seasoned actor Nino Muhlach, revealed that he was harassed by the aforementioned independent contractors of GMA.
He officially filed a complaint at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). GMA network also had its investigation after the 23-year-old actor filed a complaint.
That revelation from Sandro Muhlach pushed singer-theater actor Gerald Santos to speak up too. The latter allegedly experienced harassment when he was just 15 years old. In Gerald’s video that he shared on YouTube, he encouraged other harassment victims to speak up to spread awareness.
In a recent article in PEP, it was said that Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque, the legal counsel of Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz said that they already received the complaint filed by Sandro before GMA and that they were given five days to answer this.
When asked about the complaint, the lawyer said that she couldn’t comment on this for now but what she could say is that in every proceedings whether that is administrative or criminal, the accuser has the burden to prove.
In Sandro’s complaint, he stated that Nones and Cruz lured him into their hotel room but Atty. Abraham-Garduque said that this contradicts the evidence that the actor presented.
“Based on the text messages, it was Mr. Muhlach who messaged Mr. Nones with ‘Andyan pa ba kayo sir Baka po pwede dumaan saglit haha,’” the lawyer shared.
Nones and Cruz’s legal counsel did not say more about what happened next but she said that they will write a formal response to the complaint filed by Sandro. She also mentioned that the case filed by Sandro Muhlach was s=xual harassment and not rape.
