The mother of Carlos Yulo blamed his girlfriend for the issue between them
Angelica Yulo, the mother of Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, explained the money issue that apparently started the conflict between them.
The public witnessed that Carlos and Angelica had a conflict because of the latter’s post about the Japanese gymnast which was her son’s competitor. After Carlos won his first Olympic gold medal, netizens said that it was “karma” for Angelica for not supporting his son.
It was alleged that Carlos and Angelica drifted apart from each other because of money issues. Allegedly, Caloy’s family spent his money without his knowledge.
In line with this issue, Angelica Yulo spoke in an interview with Bombo Radyo about the money issue and she blamed Carlos Yulo’s girlfriend Chloe San Jose for the gap that she and his son now have.
Caloy’s mother explained that she had deposited the money from her son’s incentives in a bank but the account was frozen and they did not spend it. However, when her son questioned this, Angelica said that she intended to withdraw the money but she needed to wait for two years, otherwise, she would pay a penalty.
She also revealed that Caloy’s girlfriend has something to do with why the gap between her and her son became bigger. Angelica said that she did not like that Chloe was sleeping in Caloy’s apartment which was only intended for athletes.
When asked if ever since she and Chloe were not getting along, Angelica said that at first they were okay but she already felt that the girl was a “red flag.” She said that they were afraid that eventually, Caloy would be “maubos.” Sh
Angelica Yulo also said that they only used a “portion” of Carlos Yulo’s money and this can’t even shake the amount of money that he has.
