Kim Domingo talked about her stint in ‘Batang Quiapo’
Actress Kim Domingo revealed the reason why she accepted her role in the Kapamilya series Batang Quiapo.
Kim has been doing projects in the Kapuso network for many years. This is one of the reasons why many were surprised when she was teased as the newest addition to the cast of the Kapamilya series. She became a trending topic on social media when she was finally introduced as Madonna.
Previously, Kim expressed gratitude to GMA for allowing her to be part of the Kapamilya series. She was also grateful for the warm welcome she received from the avid viewers of Batang Quiapo.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PUSH, Kim Domingo revealed what pushed her to accept this stint in the Kapamilya network. The Kapuso actress shared that it has been her dream to be part of the series featuring primetime action star Coco Martin.
She also said that she did not expect to be included in the cast but she is extremely ecstatic. “Yung nangyari na mapasama ako rito. Very grateful ako and mas pagbubutihin ko pa,” Kim said.
The actress also shared what Coco, as a director, said to her as a reminder. She said that the lead actor who is also their director said that she should always train for fighting scenes. She was also told by Coco to do her best and put her character in her heart.
Kim said that she accepted these pieces of advice wholeheartedly because at the end of the day, she will be the one who will carry the character.
The actress also shared that her character Madonna is fierce and a dangerous woman but she has a good heart. Kim Domingo also said that she is thankful for the positive feedback she received when her character was introduced in the series.
