Julie Anne San Jose plays this character in the new Kapuso series
Asia’s Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose is part of the series Pulang Araw and this is what she said about being part of this project.
Julie is one of the in-demand female celebrities of the Kapuso network. Aside from her regular stint on All-Out Sundays, the singer-actress also does some acting projects.
Julie’s most recent series before this was Maria Clara at Ibarra in which she played the character of modest, prim, and proper Maria Clara. She plays Katy Dela Cruz in the new Kapuso series, who was considered the Queen of Bodabil and Jazz in the 1940s.

Julie Anne San Jose said she is happy to be part of Pulang Araw coming from Maria Clara at Ibarra, which was also a big project. She also said that people will learn a lot of things from this new series which was set during the Japanese occupation.
Aside from the historical factor of the series, Julie said that people will also see the entertainment scene at that time.
Pulang Araw‘s main characters are Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards, Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza, Pambansang Ginoo David Licauco, and popular Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez with the name antagonist Dennis Trillo.
Previously, Dennis, who is tagged as the drama king of the Kapuso network, expressed excitement for his kontrabida role. He played the character of a Japanese soldier who will make the life of Alden’s character difficult.
Meanwhile, Julie Anne San Jose recently had a successful 2-day concert with SB19’s Stell Ajero titled Ang Ating Tinig at the New Frontier Theater. They featured OPM songs that became hit tracks in the past and popular songs these recent years.
