Herlene Budol Switch Places W/ Her Motorcycle Rider
HERLENE BUDOL – Kapuso actress and beauty queen Herlene Budol shared her funny commuting adventure.
Herlene “Hipon” Budol first gained fame as Hipon Girl on Willie Revillame’s show Wowowin, where her candidness endeared her to fans. Recently, she competed in Binibining Pilipinas and secured the first runner-up position.
Despite her popularity and positive image in the entertainment industry, Herlene has faced negative comments from netizens. A recent post about the GMA Gala featured a netizen accusing her of having a “street-like” demeanor.
Herlene Budol recently shared an amusing experience while commuting home. To reach her residence in Rizal, she booked a motorcycle ride through a popular ride-hailing app.
The Kapuso star mentioned that it had been a long time since she last took a motorcycle taxi, with her previous ride being before the pandemic.
During the ride, while stuck in traffic, the commuters behind her offered her a scoop of ice cream, which she graciously accepted.
Interestingly, Herlene and the rider she booked knew each other and were friends on Facebook. At one point, they even switched places during the ride.
“So guys, nagpalit kami. Ako naman nag-angkas sa kanya para ma-feel naman niya maging pasahero. Siya naman ‘yung pasahero, hindi siya ‘yung palaging nagpapa-angkas,” the actress says in the video.
Both Herlene and the rider arrived safely at their destination.
“Kuya, ang ida-drop n’yo po PhP86. Tip-an niyo po ako ah. Kung hindi, last biyahe mo na po ‘to,” the Kapuso star joked as she paid the fare and gave the rider a generous tip.
Herlene uploaded a video of her commuting adventure on her Instagram account with the caption, “rides tayo haha.”
