Kobe Paras and Kyline Alcantara’s sweetness catches people’s attention
Basketball legend and actor Benjie Paras was asked about the rumored romance of his son basketball player Kobe Paras with actress Kyline Alcantara.
Kyline and Kobe sparked dating rumors back in May. It is because of the similar photos of a restaurant that they shared on their Instagram pages. Eventually, the actress confirmed that those photos were taken during their date night.
However, when asked about the status of her heart amid being linked to Kobe, Kyline said that she is not yet ready to fall in love because she is focused on prioritizing knowing herself more.
During the GMA Gala 2024, Kyline Alcantara and Kobe Paras were together. When the latter was asked about the real score between him and the actress, he said that they are “great friends.”
Despite the “friends” status, Kyline and Kobe were spotted once again holding each other’s hand going inside an establishment. The actress spent time with the basketball player and his family, as his father Benjie and his brother Andre were also there.
In a recent interview with Inquirer entertainment writer Dolly Anne Carvajal, Benjie Paras was asked about the rumored romance between Kobe and Kyline.
The basketball legend known for his “Tower of Power” moniker, said that even though they are in the world of show business, he knows that when his son Kobe falls in love, it is for real. Benjie said that his son does not fool around and he is serious when it comes to his relationship.
He also shared that he would always tell Kobe to be in love when he is in a relationship because if this does not work he will get hurt but he will heal and this will make him stronger.
Benjie Paras does not intervene with whom his children will choose. “Boto ako whoever he’s with. That’s his life, not mine. Whatever works for them and makes them happy, then I’m happy too,” the father of Kobe Paras said.
