Nadine Samonte made this statement after revealing what she encountered at the annual Kapuso event
Kapuso actress Nadine Samonte revealed that Sparkle reached out to her after the “mistreatment” that she received during the GMA Gala 2024.
To recall, it was Nadine’s stylist who first opened up on social media about what the actress encountered at the annual Kapuso event. The stylist said that Nadine received an invitation from GMA but when she arrived at the venue, she found out that her name was not on the guest list.
Then, Nadine broke her silence about this in a video shown on talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz’s YouTube channel. She said that she prepared for the event for a year since she was not able to do enough preparation last year.
Nadine Samonte revealed that when she arrived at the venue, the receptionist asked her name but it was not on the guest list. When she was allowed to enter, she saw the tables already had names on them, and allotted seats for celebrities.
She had no choice but to go to the table at the far back. The actress admitted that she was saddened by the kind of treatment she received but she finished the program and went home.
In an Instagram post after that unpleasant experience, Nadine said that she is moving on from that and she has no “sama ng loob” to GMA. She thanked the people who showed love and support for her amid this issue, including her family, friends, and fans.
The actress also appreciated her team for their “relentless love and support.” Nadine also thanked Sparkle for looking into this matter. She also thanked the Kapuso network and its talent management firm for reaching out to her.
Nadine Samonte said that this meant a lot to her. “I’m always proud to be a Kapuso,” she said in her post that received positive feedback from the online community.
