Rosanna Roces Takes Aim at Jude Bacalso, Criticizes Her Looks

Former TV Host Jude Bacalso Lambasted By Rosanna Roces

ROSANNA ROCES – Actress Rosanna Rocess reacted to the issue circulating online, involving Cebu personality Jude Bacalso.

The actress Rosanna Roces, also known as Osang, a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, reacted to what Jude Bacalso, a Cebu-based lifestyle writer, did, which went viral on social media.

Jude became the talk of the town after a photo of him with a waiter at a restaurant went viral. The waiter had called him “Sir,” something he didn’t like because she identified herself as a woman.

Because of this, Jude Bacalso lectured or scolded the waiter for about two hours. This was based on what a netizen who uploaded the photo of the two on Facebook said.

Many reacted to Rosanna Roces’ post, including some showbiz personalities. They sent messages to Osang, saying her post was “harsh.” Her response to our message was, “Salbahe siya, eh.”

We understand Osang’s irritated reaction because she really doesn’t like it when someone is looked down upon, especially if their social status is not equal.

According to the report, Jude also received support from the festival director of Puregold CinePanalo, Direk Chris Cahilig. His post on Facebook read, “Kabastusan ang pagtawag ng ‘sir’ sa isang nagbibihis babae. Walang mawawala sa ‘yo kung kikilalanin mo ang kanyang gender identity.”

Vlogger Jeman Bunyi Villanueva commented on Chris’s post, “But there are better and nicer ways to educate someone about misgendering. Lalo na kung hindi naman sinadya or ginamit pang insulto ang pag tawag ng ma’am or sir.”

Chris replied, “Jeman Bunyi Villanueva, yes, agree. But it starts with the act of misgendering.”

Jeman responded, “Chris Cahilig, agree naman ako about respecting someone’s preferred gender. Kung gusto niya na ma’am itawag sa kanya, I have no problem with that naman, kahit hindi pa siya nakadamit pambabae or nakamakeup.”

Singer-actress Marissa Sanchez also weighed in on the issue, “Pero Direk mali nmn na patayuin mo ng dalawang oras ung waiter Drek knowing ur heart u won’t go that far.”

But Chris believed, “Marissa Sanchez Giorla apparently fake news. At impossible na scenario.”

Marissa quipped, “Chris Cahilig Fake din na babae sya Drek eh. Anyway kanya-kanya tlgang opinion tyong lht Drek.”

The opinions among netizens were divided on the issue with Jude.
