Enchong Dee talked about the role he’s willing to do
Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee said that he is ready to work on a BL (Boy’s Love) project with these actors.
Enchong has done different projects over the years. He also brought out remarkable performances that received recognition like the Best Supporting Actor award he accepted at the 7th The EDDYS awards for the movie GomBurZa.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Enchong was asked if he is also willing to do a BL project.
The actor said that even before the BL series or movies became a trend, he already thought of a project with this kind of theme. Enchong Dee also shared that he even pitched this project to an executive who is also his friend but this did not materialize.
He thought that it was not yet the right time for that project to push through. The actor said that if there is an offer to do a project with an LGBTQIA+ theme, he is willing to do this.
When it comes to his onscreen partner for this kind of project, Enchong mentioned Jericho Rosales, Dingdong Dantes, Piolo Pascual, and Alden Richards.
Meanwhile, Enchong is happy about the recognition he received from The EDDYS awards. He said that being part of this movie is already a big win for him. It is because of after the movie was released, this project received a lot of blessings.
“Being part of Gomburza is already such a win, simply because andaming magagandang bagay na sunod-sunod na nangyari after GomBurZa…from Cedrick (Juan), to Tito Dante (Rivero), to Piolo (Pascual), to myself, panalung-panalo na siya,” he said.
Enchong Dee also said that it is a great honor for him to be recognized as a Best Supporting Actor by the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd). It is because people behind this organization are helping them in promoting their projects.
