Xian Lim narrated the pre-production preparations they did for their movie shot in Thailand
Kapuso actor-director Xian Lim received “palusot” comments after he shared the pre-production preparations he and his team did for the movie Kuman Thong.
The thriller film featuring Cindy Miranda, Thai actor Max Nattapol Diloknawarit, and child star Ruedas, was shot in Thailand. Previously, Cindy shared that shooting the film in the said country was a challenging one.
Aside from having a limited time, it was also a challenge for them to deal with the hot temperature. On the other hand, she commended Xian for his job well done as a director of the movie.
After the premiere night just recently, Xian Lim shared a tribute post for his girlfriend Iris Lee, who is also the producer of the film.
One of the photos he shared showed that Iris was apparently discussing what was flashed on a monitor. Under the immigration interview, it was stated that they would “not declare shoot.” With this, he was criticized by netizens for alleged dishonesty. The actor deleted that particular photo.
After the negative comments against Xian and Iris, the actor-director shared a lengthy post on Instagram, explaining every photo that he posted. Xian said in his caption that it was an immersive 4-day ocular for the film.
In one of the photos he shared, it showed staff from the Thai production company they worked with. He said that this was the same production company that helped his team back in 2017 when they filmed Dear Other Self.
Xian also said that the Film board in Thailand provided a comfortable van for their team. Other photos showed that they were checking certain locations where they could shoot.
This was shared on a popular showbiz site and netizens once again criticized Xian Lim. For some, this was just “palusot” and it sounded like the actor-director was guilty. On the other hand, there were netizens who defended the Kapuso star. Here are some comments.
