Melai Cantiveros talked about her husband Jason Francisco
Kapamilya comedienne-host Melai Cantiveros reacted to the “infidelity” rumor about her husband actor Jason Francisco.
Melai and Jason’s love story started in the Pinoy Big Brother house. They were part of the Double Up season of the Kapamilya reality show in 2009. Melai was hailed as the big winner in that season.
They became a couple behind the camera and they now have two daughters. Although some controversies surfaced between them, Melai and Jason continue to be together. To recall, last year, rumors surfaced that they broke up but they showed that there was no truth to this.
In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, Melai Cantiveros was asked about the rumor that Jason Francisco cheated on her.
The comedienne-host strongly denied the allegations against her husband. “Sobra ang swerte ko sa asawa dahil siya ang pinaka-faithful sa lahat,” Melai stressed. She also said that the rumor against her husband is due to the fake news circulating online.
Melai said that people easily judge Jason as a womanizer but they don’t know what is happening in their lives behind the camera. She pointed out that since her husband is a good-looking man, people tend to make stories about him.
The Kapamilya star stressed that they don’t need to explain to the public. She also shared that even Jason would tell her not to defend him against the rumor because people would just think that there is an issue between them.
Meanwhile, despite the intrigues, Melai is thankful for what is happening in her career right now. She recently received a blessing for having her new show Kuan On One which would showcase not just her humor but also her hosting stint as a Bisaya.
Melai Cantiveros said that she is happy for having projects that help her family financially as she is supporting the medical needs of her parents.
