Daniel Padilla Changes ‘Antukin’ Lyrics To ‘Nothing will ever break me’

Daniel Padilla had a performance that caught the attention of the online community

Supreme Idol Daniel Padilla sang the song Antukin by Rico Blanco in a recent provincial show but he changed the lyrics to “Nothing will ever break me.”

Daniel is one of the most prominent actors of his generation in the Philippine entertainment industry. His loveteam with Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo has already become part of showbiz history.

Aside from being an actor, Daniel also ventured into music and did concerts. Just recently, he was one of the performers at the Latiti Hydro Party as part of the Sab-Uyan Festival 2024 in Pola, Oriental Mindoro, based on the article in Abante.

There were performers before Daniel Padilla and even though it was already almost midnight when he performed, the crowd patiently waited for him.

Abante entertainment reporter Ogie Rodriguez shared that people in Pola warmly welcomed Daniel and the actor gave his all in entertaining the crowd. He made an effort to go near the audience and mingle with people who came to watch him.

One of the songs that he performed was the song about longing for a loved one which was written and sung by Rico Blanco. The song had this line: “Nothing will ever break us, wala talaga.”

However, the actor changed that to: “Nothing will ever break me, wala talaga!” Then, instead of “As in wala,” Daniel sang his own line with cursing, “T*ng-in* wala!

To recall, Daniel also had his viral performance of the Rivermaya song Hinahanap-hanap Kita in which he also cursed. “P*tangina may kapiling ka ng iba,” the actor sang this line which was not part of the original lyrics.

When asked about his viral song performance, Daniel Padilla said that people just exaggerated the situation. “Ang OA ng mga… masyadong OA ang mga tao,” he said and stressed that he was just enjoying his performance at that time.
