What happened between Yen Santos and Paolo Contis?
Actress Yen Santos allegedly was told by someone close to her to break up with Kapuso actor Paolo Contis.
Paolo and Yen’s relationship has been very controversial from the very start. From the time they were spotted together in Baguio until they eventually confirmed their relationship, they have been receiving negative comments on social media.
The actor even said in an interview that in his relationship with Yen, they were both demonized.
Just recently, rumors surfaced that Paolo Contis and Yen Santos broke up. It was after the actress deleted her birthday post for the actor. Eventually, netizens noticed that Paolo unfollowed Yen on Instagram. When asked about this, the actor did not give a direct answer.
Based on the article in Balita, in a recent episode of Showbiz Now Na, the YouTube talk show of veteran showbiz insider Cristy Fermin, she and her co-host Wendell Alvarez talked about Paolo and Yen’s relationship.
“Iba kasi ang sinasabing ‘pag may umuudyok sa likod mo,” Wendell shared. To make sure what he said, Cristy asked, “A, ‘pag may nagsusulsol?” Wendell affirmed this.
Then, the veteran showbiz insider said, “Ang balitang-balita po, mayroong nagsabi talaga kay Yen na kapamilya niya na hiwalayan na si Paolo Contis.”
Cristy thought that someone close to Yen was so worried that the actress might end up just like Paolo’s ex-partners. The actor is married to former EB Babe Lian Paz and they have two daughters. He also had a daughter with his former partner LJ Reyes.
As of this writing, Paolo Contis and Yen Santos haven’t spoken directly yet about their rumored breakup.
Meanwhile, it was previously revealed by showbiz insider Jobert Sucaldito that Yen’s mother Lilian said that the actress and Paolo never became a couple.
