Alexa Ilacad did not let this negative comment pass
Kapamilya actress Alexa Ilacad answered a body-shaming comment from a netizen on her recent Instagram post.
Alexa is one of the homegrown talents of ABS-CBN. She is part of the KDLex loveteam, her onscreen partnership with KD Estrada. Their fans have been very supportive of their project together and their solo showbiz engagements.
However, despite sharing entertainment and love with their fans, they still receive bad reactions, just like what happened to Alexa just recently.
The Kapamilya young actress shared on her Instagram Story a screenshot of a comment from a netizen who praised her looks but criticized her figure. Alexa Ilacad did not hesitate to answer the said comment.
“Ang ganda mo pero may something talaga sa katawan mo na mejo off,” the netizen commented. The actress pointed out that people have different body types. She also told the netizen to read books before making comments that are very “off.”
The netizen wrote another comment accusing Alexa of just accepting comments that are favorable to her and that the actress should not be in the entertainment industry if she “can’t stomach the truth.”
Alexa pointed out that she is in showbiz to share her talent and make her fans happy, and not to tolerate negative comments on social media, especially on her page. The young actress also said that she can accept constructive criticism but not this kind of rude comment.
Meanwhile, Alexa Ilacad was one of the Kapamilya celebrities who attended the wedding of celebrity couple Carlo Aquino and Charlie Dizon. The young actress wrote a heartfelt message for the newlyweds. She expressed happiness for this new chapter in Carlo and Charlie’s lives. Alexa also promised the couple that she will be there for them always.
