In the picture, Swift, 34, is seen standing with the three royals, smiling and holding up her phone to capture the moment. The post’s caption read, “Thank you @taylorswift for a great evening! #LondonTSTheErasTour.”
Taylor Swift also posted a photo on her Instagram, showing herself with Prince William, 42, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. She captioned it, “Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start,” in reference to Prince William’s birthday.
Prince William and his children attended Swift’s concert at Wembley Stadium, where the royal was reportedly seen dancing to “Shake It Off.” Prince Louis, 6, stayed home with his mother, Kate Middleton, 42.
The Princess of Wales has been less visible publicly due to her ongoing cancer treatment. Her appearance at Trooping the Colour on June 15 was her first public outing since Christmas, but her future engagements will depend on her health and medical advice.
Earlier on June 21, Swift was welcomed to London by the royal guard, who played “Shake It Off” in front of Buckingham Palace. The royal family posted a video of the performance with the caption, “Can’t stop, won’t stop groovin’.”
Prince William has a history of connecting with Swift, having joined her on stage at a 2013 Centrepoint charity event at Kensington Palace for a rendition of “Livin’ on a Prayer” with Jon Bon Jovi. He also expressed his admiration for her at the 2023 Tusk Conservation Awards.
Meghan Markle, Prince William’s sister-in-law, attended Swift’s concert in Los Angeles in August 2023.
