Ogie recently posted a cryptic message on Facebook Stories, which seemed to be aimed at someone but wasn’t explicitly directed at anyone in particular.

The comedian and talent manager appeared to be addressing someone in his message without mentioning any names. He urged this person to stop lying, emphasizing that he possesses evidence to substantiate his claims.

He also questioned the necessity of keeping things hidden, stating that there’s nothing inherently wrong with the truth.

“Wag nang magsinungaling. Hawak ko ang ebidensya. Wala namang masama. Matutuwa pa nga kami, eh. Bakit kailangang ilihim?”

In a previous article, Bea Alonzo filed a case against Ogie and his fellow hosts, including showbiz insider Cristy Fermin and her co-hosts, accusing them of allegedly spreading harmful and defamatory remarks about her on their respective shows.

On June 18, Ogie, accompanied by their legal representative Atty. Regie Tongol, appeared at the Quezon City Regional Trial Court to present their defense. According to an article in Bandera, Atty. Tongol emphasized that Bea filed the case more than a year after the alleged statements were made.

“Prescribed na ‘yung posting na nilagay nila sa complaint affidavit nila. November 2022 pa, one year lang kasi ang prescriptive period ng cyberlibel,” the lawyer explained.

As a result, Ogie ‘s legal counsel expressed optimism that the charges against him would be dismissed.
