SB19 Stell On Why It Took Him So Long To Release His First Solo Song ‘Room’

SB19 Stell is the last among the P-pop Kings to release a solo song

SB19 Stell Ajero revealed the reason why it took him so long to release his first solo song, the funky track Room.

Stell is tagged as the Heavenly Voice of SB19. He is also known for his amazing dance skills and talent as a choreographer. Last year, he was given a chance to have his first major TV project, as one of the coaches in The Voice Generations. Through this show, more Filipinos noticed that singing and dancing were not just the abilities of this multi-talented star.

Despite the clamor from A’TIN and his Berries, it still took a while for him to finally release a solo song. On June 14, Stell released his first solo track Room that showcased his vocal capabilities and his mesmerizing dance moves.

In an interview, based on the article in Balita, SB19 Stell stressed that even though he has released his solo song, his priority is still his group. This goes with other members, Pablo, Josh, Ken, and Justin who released their solos prior to Stell.

“Magso-solo but priority ang group. ‘Yon naman po ang pinaka-number one sa amin. Like, we can do our solo pero huwag na huwag kakalimutan ‘yong group,” he said.

When asked why it took him so long before deciding to have his solo song, Stell shared that he felt like he was not yet ready. He would always say that he was not used to performing without his brothers.

“Parang ever since kasi noong trainee kami. ‘Di ba po nakuwento ko na before? Noong trainee kami, nag-quit ‘yong lahat, e. Then ako ‘yong natira. So siguro ano’n ‘yong fear sa akin na takot akong maiwan mag-isa,” Stell added.

Meanwhile, prior to the release of his solo song, SB19 Stell became a trending topic on social media because of a social media personality’s “panget” remark to him. In his answer through his TikTok Live, the P-pop star stressed that the negativity did not affect him.
