Xian Lim once again talked about his breakup with Kim Chiu
Kapuso actor Xian Lim revealed that he received death threats after his breakup with Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu.
Xian has opened up once again about his breakup with Kim. After several months of being silent, the actor shared his side of the story as speculations surfaced against him. He stressed that the steak issue was not true, as well as the allegation that she called Kim to confirm her new relationship with film producer Iris Lee.
Previously, Xian said that his mother had been dragged into the issue. He claimed that fans who used to message her mother and became close to her sent nasty messages after the breakup.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, Xian Lim revealed that aside from the accusation and bashing, he also received death threats after his breakup with Kim Chiu.
He stressed that he and his family “don’t deserve the death threats and false accusations” that people throw at them. The actor also said that although it is hard and painful, moving on should take place already.
“It’s really hard. It’s getting out of hand, na. Sabihin nila nag-iingay si Xian dahil may pelikula,” the actor said.
Xian also said that from the bottom of their hearts, they explained what happened but there is no need for them to elaborate on details or cite each other’s shortcomings because it was just like other relationships.
The actor added that he does not deserve the false accusations. He also stressed that he is working hard and he does not want to be defined because of what happened. Xian Lim said that it is fine with him if people would bash him but he said that his family should not be dragged into this.
“Sige, ako na po ‘yung tirahin nila, but not my family. Nadadamay na rin kasi ‘yung nanay ko pati ‘yung lola ko. They’re getting personal messages. I’m getting death threats. My mom’s getting death threats. That’s the gravity of the situation I’m dealing with now. My family doesn’t deserve all the makeup lies,” the actor said.
