Nash Aguas & Mika Dela Cruz Shares Why They Opt For Intimate Wedding
NASH AGUAS – Newlyweds Mika Dela Cruz and Nash Aguas revealed why they opt for an intimate wedding.
On Saturday, May 18, Nash Aguas and Mika Dela Cruz exchanged vows solemnly. Beautiful details abound in an intimate wedding. At Tagaytay City’s Adriano’s Events Place and Prayer Garden, they exchanged vows.
Nash’s marriage proposal to Mika was simple yet filled with love. In an interview with Bernadette Sembrano, Mika shared how Nash proposed to her on January 4. “Nakakatawa po. Nandoon lang kami sa living room tapos ako nakapambahay lang. Dala niya ‘yung iPad niya, nag-propose s’ya with the word of God,” Mika recounted.
In the same-day edit video released by Nice Print Photography, it can be seen that before the wedding ceremony, Mika and Nash had a first touch and first prayer.
“Everything we do syempre we seek God for guidance. It’s just that we wanted to pray before we enter the next season. Actually, that was our last prayer before getting married. And, we wanted to thank him kasi umuulan the whole day basically and then nag-stop ‘yung ulan nu’ng malapit na mag-ceremon,” Nash shared.
Nash Aguas and Mika Dela Cruz also explained why they chose to have an intimate wedding.
“On that day very important sa amin not because it’s our wedding, pero it’s our wedding with God. Gusto namin na ma-feel namin ‘yung presence ni Lord, ‘yung love for each other. We’re not against naman big weddings, pero I think [it’s] our personalities,” Nash said.
Mika added, “And also siguro rin para our families would be present din, na ‘yung side n’ya and ‘yung side ko makapag-usap.”
“In terms of friends po, ang dami po naming friends. Like siya, we came from different networks so it would be so much po if we would invite everyone from that. Iba rin ‘yung work n’ya now so we didn’t want to choose. Ayaw po namin mamili na si ganito lang kasi we love each other, pantay-pantay po.”
