Mayor Alice Guo Reports Having ₱367M in Assets & ₱189M in Liabilities

MAYOR ALICE GUO – Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo declared P367 million assets and P189 million liabilities.

Controversial Mayor Alice Guo of Bamban, Tarlac, has a net worth of P177.5 million, with assets totaling P367 million and liabilities exceeding P189 million, according to her statement of assets, liabilities, and net worth (SALN) as of December 2023.

In the SALN submitted to the Senate committee on women and children, chaired by Sen. Risa Hontiveros, Guo’s liabilities amount to P189.633 million, and her net worth is P177,553,060.13.

Guo’s SALN lists nine properties: six in Marilao, Bulacan, two in Bamban, and one in Capaz, Tarlac, collectively acquired for over P20 million. The first property was bought in 2008.

The mayor owns three dump trucks, each valued at P2 million.

Additionally, Guo registered a helicopter worth P60 million, although she mentioned in a Senate public hearing that she sold it to a British company earlier this year.

According to the report, Alice Guo’s personal properties also include shares in QJJ Embroidery Center Inc., Con-HORQ Summer Real Estate Group Inc., and Balesin Island Club Inc. She possesses jewelry worth P1.5 million and has P198 million in bank deposits and cash on hand.

During a public hearing on May 23, Hontiveros presented photos of Guo’s 16 vehicles, including SUVs, pickup trucks, closed vans, and dump trucks.

Guo stated that she acquired her properties while working on her father’s farm, where she was raised.
