Kapuso couple Rabiya Mateo and Jeric Gonzales received an apology from the uploader of a blind item about what they allegedly did during South Korean star IU’s concert.

IU held a concert on June 1 at the Philippine Arena. Her fans have been anticipating this moment to happen and even celebrities in the Philippines were happy to have the chance to see her perform live.

Rabiya and Jeric were among the celebrities who attended the concert. However, a negative writeup surfaced against the Kapuso couple and it was about the alleged thing they did at the event.

Hyein’s modeling agency’s Facebook page shared a blind item claiming that an actor and a beauty queen wanted to watch IU’s concert but they did not pay and allegedly, this couple even wanted to be at the VIP area.

The blind item also claimed that a concert usher commented, “Wala ba silang pambili ng sariling ticket?” Then, the uploader of the blind item shared a screenshot of the Instagram post that the actor shared that was taken during the concert.

Although no names were mentioned, it can be noticed that the IG Story was the one that Jeric Gonzales posted.

On Rabiya Mateo’s IG Story following this issue, she shared the message of apology that Hyein’s modeling agency released. The Kapuso actress also stressed that she and her boyfriend paid for their tickets for P12,000 each and they never demanded VIP treatment from staff.

In another post, Rabiya stressed that the uploader had already said sorry about them and that the story about the usher was just based on hearsay.

The Kapuso actress also shared that they were even scammed by a ticket seller when they first bought tickets for the concert. Rabiya Mateo also lamented that it is easy for people to believe what they see or read online. She also stressed that in the past concerts of international stars in the Philippines, they never demanded VIP treatment.
