Lolit Solis shared she received a birthday gift from Kris Aquino
Veteran showbiz writer Lolit Solis said that she did not expect to receive a birthday gift from celebrity Kris Aquino.
Lolit celebrated her 77th birthday last May 20. Her birthday party was star-studded as many of her “alaga” in showbiz celebrated her natal day. On this occasion, the showbiz writer received a lot of gifts.
One of the celebrities who had a generous gift for her was Kris. Lolit shared in a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, that she did not expect that the Queen of all Media would send her a present.
The veteran showbiz writer said that even though Kris Aquino is sick and currently staying in the US, she still gave a gift.
“Dahil di ba, yung parang… parang… parang melancholia. OK lang sana kung andito siya, e, saka kung wala siyang sakit. OK lang sana. Pero yung para ma-remember ka niya na nasa abroad siya, di ba?” Lolit said.
When asked if she and Kris have a constant communication, Lolit said they haven’t talk to each other for quite a long time now and this was the reason why she was surprised when Kris’s assistant Alvin called her.
For her message to Kris, Lolit said, “Ever since naman, lagi kong sinasabi, si Kris, very naughty, pero walang mean bone.”
The showbiz writer shared that Kris sent her an S&R gift certificate worth P77,000. Aside from this, she also received P100,000 from veteran actor Christopher de Leon. President Bongbong Marcos also sent her a gift.
Lolit Solis also shared that when she counted the cash gifts she received, it reached P1.9 million but it does not include yet the one she received from former actress Nanette Medved.
