Chelsea Manalo replied, “I was on the verge of quitting na po dahil we have to face it Tito Boy, medyo matagal ‘yung competition this time, inabot siya ng four months.”

“Ako po, I came in here as an independent wala akong resources, I didn’t have much…financial…So darating talaga sa point na mauubos ka and I was almost there to quit but because of the people who supported me.”

“Magastos siya kasi ako I come back and forth to Bulacan, so siguro ‘yung transportation, dress, the makeup, everything, you have to provide it on your own,” she added.

According to the Bulacan beauty, the rest of the money given to her is used by them to buy food and clothes for her to use.

She said, “Meron naman pong kakaunting naibibigay sa akin ‘yun po ‘yung pinagsasama-sama na lang namin just so that we can have a little food para lang maitawid ko ‘yung outfits ko. Dumating din sa point na I had to go and find a dress sa mga online selling.”

Chelsea is thankful to everyone who supported her to continue what was started in this beauty pageant. Among those who helped her were her glam team, the local government of Bulacan, private individuals, and her parents.

“Actually sila ‘yung nag-support sa akin when I almost gave up, they were there to support me. Sila ‘yung nagtiwala sa akin most importantly my mom and my dad, hindi nila ako iniwan,” said Chelsea.
