Bea Gomez ventures into acting
Miss Universe 2021 Top 5 finalist Bea Gomez talked about the acting project she wants to do and the actress she wants to work with.
Bea is one of the beauty queens who eventually joined the entertainment industry. She was one of the 40 celebrities who was part launched by Sparkle GMA Artist Center during the Signed for Stardom event.
In an interview, based on the article in Bandera, Bea said that her branding has been limited to being a beauty queen but she stressed that she has more to offer. She also said that she is willing to learn.
After competing in one of the top pageants, Bea Gomez believed that it is her time now to explore different fields. This will finally happen after she joined the Kapuso talent management company.
When asked what movie genre she wanted to do, Bea said that she wanted to try doing action films. “If I were to choose a genre, it would be action, because I’m a Navy reservist and an athlete,” she said.
Bea also said that she is also open to doing romantic projects and being paired with someone in a loveteam. However, she said that she has one worry when it comes to loveteam because it would be hard for her to find a pair fitted for her beauty queen height.
She stressed that she is ready to portray different roles as she is programmed to do challenges.
When it comes to the stars she wants to work with in the future, Bea shared that veteran actress Jean Garcia is on her bucket list. “I once saw her in an event in Capiz. I thought it would be a dream to do a scene with her. I have yet to meet her personally. But I grew up watching her shows,” Bea Gomez shared.
She also said that the possibility of meeting and working with the prominent actress in GMA excites her.
