Erik Santos is not yet ready to get married
Kapamilya singer Erik Santos revealed the reason why he does not want to settle down yet even though this possibility has crossed his mind many times already.
Erik has been in the industry for many years and his career continues to flourish. However, when it comes to his love life, the singer is lacking in this aspect. He has been single for quite some time now and there is no news if he is dating or not.
In a recent episode of Showbiz Update, the YouTube showbiz talk show of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, based on the article in Balita, the singer who rose to fame after winning in Star In A Million shared why he chose to be single for now.
Erik Santos said that the biggest factor is what he went through when it came to his family. On the other hand, the singer said that he has been thinking of settling down also as he has been invited to several weddings.
âPero honestly dahil po sa nangyari sa pamilya namin na hindi naman po lingid sa kaalaman ng iba, medyo nawalan po ako ng motivation, e,” he shared.
The challenges in his life made him think twice if he is ready to go to the next chapter of his life with someone. âDumaan din po ako sa matinding pagsubok. So, hindi po ako masyadong naging vocal. Syempre, âyong mga panahon na âyonâand up until nowâmay mga episodes pa rin. It comes in waves, e,â the singer explained.
With this, Erik said that he must heal first before spending his life with someone. âSiguro mas maganda na i-heal ko muna âyong sarili ko bago ako siguro makapagmahal ult nang buo,” he said.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Erik Santos shared what happened to his audition in GMA before he won in Star In A Million. He shared that he had several auditions and one of them was in a talent search in the Kapuso network but that was not a successful endeavor for him.
