Oyo Boy Sotto recounted childhood memories of frequent playdates hosted by their father, where they bonded with siblings from different households, fostering a sense of family unity. As they grew older and started their own families, their time together naturally decreased. However, regular gatherings, particularly during Vic’s birthday and impromptu dinners, ensured that their sibling bonds remained strong over the years.

Despite having children from different mothers — Oyo and Danica with ex-wife Dina Bonnevie, Vico with Coney Reyes, Paulina with Angela Luz, and the youngest, Tali and Mochi, with Pauleen Luna—Vic made sure they all felt equally loved and included.

“And yung pagmamahal niya sa amin. Si Daddy, talagang all throughout, kahit siempre magkakahiwalay kami na magkakapatid, iba-iba kami ng nanay pero never namin naramdaman yun kay Daddy. Pantay-pantay kami lahat,” he said.

Expressing gratitude for his father’s dedication, Oyo admitted to feeling emotional, especially during occasions like Vic’s recent birthday. Despite Oyo’s reassurances for Vic to focus on his own immediate family, Vic’s steadfast insistence on caring for all his children remains a testament to his boundless love and commitment.

“Sobra yung sipag at pagmamahal ni Daddy sa amin that sometimes, we’re the ones already telling him, you have your own family na, don’t worry about us too much. Of course, focus on Pauleen, on Tali and on Mochi but siya yung, ‘Di pwede, mga anak ko kayong lahat.’”
