Xian Lim shared how he handled recent issues
Kapuso actor Xian Lim claimed that “fans” sent nasty messages to his mom after his breakup with Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu.
Xian and Kim’s breakup was quite controversial. Several issues and allegations, especially against the actor.
One of the allegations against him was that he was the one who initiated the breakup and allegedly he did this while eating the steak that he made Kim cook for him. Xian denied this rumor.
He was also accused of calling Kim and telling her that she could now confirm his relationship with Iris Lee. The actor also denied this rumor.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, Xian Lim was asked how he coped with the negativity brought by his breakup with Kim Chiu. The actor shared that it was his mom who stood by his side.
“She advised me to stay away from the news, from all social media platforms, because things were getting too out of hand. She also advised me to not mind all the fake news and the things people are saying about me, that deep inside, we know the truth and that’s all that matters,” Xian said about his mom.
The actor was also told that if people believe the allegations against him, then he can do nothing about this. Xian also said that his mom has been his pillar. Then, he revealed that even his mom received the negativity amid his breakup with Kim.
Xian explained what happened. He said that they don’t consider their fans as fans because they have become like family. The actor revealed that some of the fans who are close to him had the number of his mom.
“For the past 12 years, we were OK. She was always just a text away from our followers. All of a sudden, this happened—Kim and I broke up. I just don’t understand why these people we know are now going out of their way to say hurtful words to my mother,” he revealed.
The actor has no idea what was this for. He stressed that he and Kim gave the reason for the breakup and the public does not need to dissect what happened.
He said that they were saddened because they trusted these people. “We considered them family. My mom had to change her number,” the actor shared. Amid this, Xian Lim said that his mother just said that as long as they know the truth, they don’t need to play this game with them.
