Bea Alonzo Reason For Filing Cyber Libel Case Against Ogie Diaz

Bea Alonzo cried foul over this statement made by Ogie Diaz

Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo has this reason for filing a cyber libel case against talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz.

Bea also filed the same case against veteran showbiz insider Cristy Fermin. Previously, it was revealed that there are several episodes of the YouTube show Showbiz Now Na in which Cristy has her alleged malicious statements against the actress.

Cristy mentioned the alleged reason for Bea’s breakup with Dominic Roque and allegedly the actress had someone investigate the real owner of the latter’s condo unit. The veteran showbiz insider had other episodes talking about the actress.

In a previous statement, Cristy Fermin expressed that she understood Bea Alonzo’s decision. She even said, “See you in court.” However, she contradicted the actress’s statement that they just wanted to garner views on their YouTube channels.

Ogie Diaz said in his statement on the cyber libel case that he also understands that it is the actress’s right to file a case.

Based on the article in Bandera, two issues pushed Bea to file the case against the talent manager-vlogger. She filed two counts of cyber libel against Ogie. One is about his comment that Bea’s first Kapuso series Start-Up PH with Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards did not last long because of its low ratings.

The other one was when Ogie said that his source revealed that before a project will be offered to Bea, it should be offered first to Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera. Allegedly, if Marian will say no to a project, then, it will be given to Bea.

However, a Kapuso writer contradicted what Ogie said on his Showbiz Update vlog. Writer RJ Nuevas shared that GMA asked for a concept for Bea Alonzo’s next TV series and the Widow’s War was created. He also stressed that the show was for Bea and it was not offered to anyone else.
