Paolo Contis talked about his current appearance
Kapuso actor Paolo Contis has this answer when asked about his obvious weight loss and he stressed that it has nothing to do with addiction.
Paolo has been active in the entertainment industry for many years. He practically grew up before the public’s eyes. With this, it is quite noticeable when there are some changes in his looks as he is frequently seen onscreen.
Just recently, during an online interview, netizens noticed Paolo’s appearance. He obviously had a drastic weight loss which was far from his appearance when he was hosting the defunct Kapuso noontime show Tahanang Pinakamasaya.
Netizens commented that the actor had a “matanda” face. This surprised netizens and they asked what happened to him.
In a recent interview for his new movie Fuschia Libre, based on the article in Balita, the actor had a simple answer to why he is skinnier now compared to his appearance months ago.
He said that his weight loss was a preparation for his role in his new movie. It is because he has to do some fight scenes in the movie. Rumors surfaced that the actor is a “drug addict” because of his appearance now.
“After A Journey I had to lose weight for the role, this one, kaya tuloy-tuloy… kaya hindi po totoong adik ako. Hindi po totoong nag-aadik ako…” he said. The movie that Paolo mentioned was his reunion film with his former Tabang Ilog co-stars Kaye Abad and Patrick Garcia.
Meanwhile, Paolo Contis also addressed the rumors saying that he and his girlfriend actress Yen Santos broke up. To recall, Yen deleted her birthday post for Paolo and this ignited speculations about the status of their relationship. The actor said, “No comment” when asked about this and he said that people appeared to know a lot about them.
