SPED Teacher Wins Miss Philippines Earth 2024 Crown

MISS PHILIPPINES EARTH 2024 WINNER – Filipino military reservist, special education teacher, athlete, and beauty queen from Matanao, Davao del Sur, Irha Mel Inutan Alfeche is crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2024 during the pageant’s grand coronation held in Talakag, Bukidnon.

Irha Mel Inutan Alfeche, a teacher hailing from Matanao, Davao del Sur, emerged victorious among the contenders to claim the title of Miss Philippines Earth 2024. She received her crown from the reigning queen, Yllana Marie Aduana, who is presently reigning as Miss Earth Air 2023.

The elemental court comprises Feliz Clareianne Recentes from Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte (representing Air), Samantha Dana Bug-os from Baco, Oriental Mindoro (representing Water), Kia Labiano from Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay (representing Fire), and Ira Patricia Malaluan from Batangas (representing Eco-Tourism). Malaluan was additionally honored with the title of Miss Hana earlier during the event.

The remaining five women who reached the Top 10 included Ansha Lichelle Jones (Zamboanga City), Victoria Johnson (representing the Filipino Community of Brandon, Florida), Sam Samara (Makati City), Mary Joanne Fuentes (Maramag, Bukidnon), and Chaoncy Rich Azucena (Balungon, Bukidnon). They were all announced as runners-up for the title. Mindanaoan representatives notably achieved commendable rankings throughout this year’s competition.

The additional five contestants who advanced to the Top 15 included Marinell Salvador (Cabanatuan), Rin Rin Rances Raz (Lubao, Nueva Ecija), Jeyzel Ann Reyes (representing the Filipino Community of Rome, Italy), Reyna Ruhen (Aborlan, Palawan), and Kristel Codas (Iligan City).

The coronation ceremony commenced with the reigning queen and contestants dancing in a choreographed performance while adorned in matching Talaandig traditional attire. Cultural performers representing different Indigenous Peoples (IPs) of Bukidnon highlighted the province’s diverse unity.
