Boy Abunda spoke about the BeaDom breakup announcement that he made
King of Talk Boy Abunda reacted to the case filed by Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo against showbiz insiders Cristy Fermin and Ogie Diaz.
Bea formally filed cyber libel complaints against Cristy, Ogie, and their respective co-hosts. The actress cried foul over the alleged “malicious” statements that the two showbiz insiders had on their respective YouTube channels about her taxes.
Many netizens thought that this was about her breakup issue with showbiz personality Dominic Roque and they commented that Bea should have filed a case against Tito Boy as well.
To recall, it was Boy Abunda who “confirmed” the BeaDom breakup. However, other netizens pointed out that Bea Alonzo’s case against Cristy Fermin and Ogie Diaz was not about their comments about the breakup.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Pang-Masa, Tito Boy spoke about the legal battle that started between the Kapuso actress and the two showbiz insiders.
The King of Talk explained that when he spoke about the BeaDom breakup, his intention was to appeal for kindness. It was because there had been nasty comments about Dominic that circulated on social media.
He said that people can express their comments, views, and opinions about the issue but it was out of the line already and he can’t tolerate that.
“Kaya ako nakiusap sa audience. May nakiusap ba sa akin? Nakiusap ba sa akin si Bea, or kaya si Dominic na mag-appeal? Hindi, ako lang ‘yon. Ako lang ‘yon,” the King of Talk said.
Boy Abunda also acknowledges the fact that whatever people do, there will always be comments from other people. He said that this is part of the entertainment industry.
However, the King of Talk does not want to dip his fingers into the issue that he is no longer part of. “May matutuwa, may makakaunawa, may hindi makakaunawa, may mga bagay na ipaglalaban ka. Pero timing is very important. Sabi ko nga I am uncomfortable talking about this because I am not part of that issue now,” he said.
