Andrea Brillantes addressed this rumor
Kapamilya actress Andrea Brillantes has this reaction when asked about the rumor that she will star in the reboot of Dyesebel.
Andrea has starred in different teleseryes on the Kapamilya network. She is currently promoting High Street, the sequel to Senior High. In the recent press conference for this project, Andrea talked about the possibility of a Dyesebel reboot.
The actress admitted that she was surprised that a few months after Senior High ended, the sequel already received a go signal. She already had an idea that a sequel would happen but she did not expect it to be that fast, based on the article in The Philippine Star.
Andrea Brillantes shared that ABS-CBN’s Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast Cory Vidanes confirmed to the cast of Senior High that they will have a sequel.
She will be joined again by her co-stars Juan Karlos, Xyriel Manabat, Zaijan Jaranilla, Elijah Canlas, Miggy Jimenez, Daniela Stranner, Tommy Alejandrino, Gela Atayde, Angel Aquino, Kean Cipriano, Angeli Bayani, Ana Abad Santos, and Mon Confiado.
The sequel will feature new characters that will be played by Dimples Romana, Romnick Sarmenta, AC Bonifacio, Harvey Bautista, and Ralph de Leon.
When asked about the rumor that she will be in the Dyesebel reboot, the actress said that she can’t comment on this as of now.
The Kapuso network had a TV series version of this in 2008 featuring Primetime Queen Marian Rivera. Then, ABS-CBN released its version six years after that and this featured actress-host Anne Curtis.
Andrea said that she is a fan of this and if this project is offered to her, she will not hesitate. “I’m a big fan kasi alam niyo naman lagi akong nagsi-swimming, nagfe-freedive. So if pagbibigyan ako ng chance talaga, I would be so honored,” the actress said.
Andrea Brillantes also clarified that he social media posts in the past were because of her love for swimming and not about a certain project.
Meanwhile, Andrea also talked about how she deals with the toxicity of social media.
