Kristine Hermosa was asked about her showbiz career plans
Actress Kristine Hermosa does not want to make drama projects anymore and this is the reason behind this.
Kristine is known for her drama TV series that made many Pinoys cry and empathize with her characters. For many years, her teleseryes became part of the viewing habits of many Filipino households.
Despite her popularity, she chose to have her showbiz hiatus when she got married to Oyo Boy Sotto and started having their family.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Oyo Boy Sotto was asked if it is true that he is hindering Kristine Hermosa from returning to showbiz. He stressed that there is no truth to this.
Oyo also said that it is okay for him that his wife would return to acting but it is Kristine who does not want to accept projects yet. He added that his wife might accept sitcoms but she will not do a drama project.
“Ayaw na niya sa mga drama. Nakakapagod daw,” Oyo said. He added that for now, Kristine will not yet return to acting since she is four months pregnant. The actor said that it can be possible after his wife gives birth.
Meanwhile, when Kristine was asked if she is willing to do a project with her ex-boyfriend Jericho Rosales, she said that this depends on the material. She wants to be sure that it is worth her time and effort.
“Talagang i-filter ko muna lahat. Kung worth it naman ang gagawin namin hindi ‘yung masabi lang na may ginawa kami together,” the actress said. Kristine Hermosa also said that if this happens, there will be no issue with her husband because Oyo understands how showbiz works.
The actress stressed that she needs to have a sign from above that it is time for her to return to acting.
