Ina Raymundo Reveals Son Jakob Poturnak Now Ready To Enter Showbiz Industry
JAKOB POTURNAK – Actress Ina Raymundo said her son Jakob Poturnak is now ready to enter the showbiz industry.
Actress Ina Raymundo’s pride in her children shines through in her Instagram posts, and it’s understandable given their impressive talents. Erika Rae, a gifted singer and performer, currently studying at Berklee College of Music, is one of her 5 children that we are most familiar with.
Ina’s only son, Jakob Poturnak, also made headlines with his acceptance to play collegiate baseball in the US. Ina affectionately refers to him as “sonshine,” emphasizing his unique position in the family.
Jakob Poturnak is now enrolled at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he’ll be playing D1 baseball, the highest level recognized by the NCAA. He has expressed his ambition to be selected by a major league baseball team in the future.
During a recent press conference for her film “X&Y,” Ina shared that her son Jakob is prepared to step into the entertainment industry. She said he is very approachable. “Pwede siyang mag-artista kasi very accommodating. Bata pa lang siya may nagpapa-picture na sa kanya sa ibang bansa ‘pag nagba-baseball siya and lagi siyang game,” she said.
“Ganoon siyang tipong bata na kapag may nagpa-picture or nag-approach sa kanya, game siya. He’s a very nice guy,” she added.
Ina Raymundo mentioned that her son’s primary focus remains on his baseball career, indicating that she doesn’t anticipate Jakob venturing into show business anytime soon.
“Baseball kasi talaga ‘yung passion niya e. Kaya he’s in the middle of nowhere sa US to become better,” Ina said.
“He’s doing well there. He does not have a girlfriend. ‘Yung focus niya talaga baseball, baseball, baseball,” she added.
