Gabby Concepcion and Marian Rivera finally worked together on a TV series
Seasoned actor Gabby Concepcion talked about working with Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera in the new series My Guardian Alien.
Gabby and Marian were supposed to work together in the series First Yaya which had the sequel First Lady. However, due to personal reasons, Marian was not able to do those projects.
This year, Gabby and Marian’s tandem came into reality. In a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, the seasoned actor said that he has been very supportive of the whole cast.
Gabby Concepcion said that he would do whatever is told to him to do as an actor. He said that he followed their director Zig Dulay when he said that he should cry.
“I’m just here to support Marian (sa) pagbalik niya (at) para matuto kay direk sa kagalingan niya at sa kagalingan ng mga cast namin,” he added.
Gabby also said that it was fun working with Marian. “Masarap kasama yan dahil laging nagpapakain yan,” he said. The actor also thanked the wife of Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes for her kindness to everyone on the set.
He also said that he can attest to Marian’s generosity, not just to her fellow co-stars but also to the staff and crew of the series.
In a previous interview, Gabby Concepcion stressed the importance of having a good rapport with the people on the set. “Like my father used to say, ‘Habang paakyat ka, kaibiganin mo lahat dahil pag-baba mo sila rin ang makikita mo,’” he said.
The seasoned actor added that humility is important. He pointed out that if you can’t be perfect and make everybody like you but at least you should be aware not to hurt other people’s feelings.
