Sid Lucero had this statement about Andi Eigenmann
Actor Sid Lucero said that among his half-siblings, actress Andi Eigenmann is the strongest.
Andi is grieving the death of her mother multi-awarded actress Jaclyn Jose. On March 3, Andi confirmed before the members of the press the passing away of her mother.
She was crying as she had her official statement confirming the death of the well-loved actress while her half-brother Gabby Eigenmann was beside her and assisting her. Despite the grief that she feels, Andi expressed hope that she will be with her mother someday and this was what she shared on her social media post. She shared this through a poem.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, Sid Lucero highlighted Andi Eigenmann’s strength in dealing with things in her life, especially after losing her mother.
“She’s the only one out of all of us na pareho nang wala [she’s the only one with both parents gone], but fitting rin because, not to sound insensitive, out of everybody, she’s the strongest, so siya ‘yung makaka-kaya non,” the actor said.
Sid also shared that he was there during the first day of Jaclyn’s wake. At that time, family and friends were only allowed to be there.
The actor said that letting Andi grieve is the very least thing he can do for her now. “My way of supporting Andi is letting her deal with this, all of the formalities, and once this dies down, she has time for herself, let herself rest. And we’ll see each other as soon as we can. Andi is strong. She got all the support from everybody,” he said.
They are in a big clan that went through grieving over the loss of their loved ones and Sid said that they will always be there for each other.
Sid Lucero also recalled that he got his first acting lesson from the mother of Andi Eigenmann. The actor mentioned that they have the Jaclyn Jose School of Underacting. For him, the late actress was the one doing it right.
“She’s the only one who knows how to act. She’s not underacting, we’re all overacting,” Sid said about Jaclyn.
