Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque received this message from politicians
Dapitan Mayor Bullet Jalosjos and Rep. Bong Suntay encouraged former couple Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque to speak amid speculations surrounding their breakup.
The politicians were dragged into the issue as rumors surfaced that they were Dominic’s “benefactors.” Jalosjos admitted that he owns the condo unit where Dominic lives now but the latter is renting it.
Suntay also clarified rumors aren’t true that he gave a branch of his gas station to Dominic. They were thinking of legal actions they could take against the speculations that surfaced online.
Based on the article in PEP, Jalosjos and Suntay urged Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque to clarify the issues as other people are being dragged into it.
Jalosjos said that they understand what the former couple is going through and that they need time to heal and fix things but he pointed out that while Bea and Dominic are thinking, they should also think that there are people being dragged into the issue.
“We hope, as friends, I think it’s the most decent thing to do. Hindi rin kami tao na sanay sa mga ganitong issues. Although we are public personality, pareho kaming politiko, sanay kami sa mga issues, ngayon lang kami nakarinig ng ganitong issue sa akin,” the Dapitan City Mayor said.
He added that he hoped Bea and Dominic could find some time to work things out before the issue worsened.
“Something as simple as fights and breakup, naging totally different monster, e. Because nga may mga hinahalo na dito. I think, it’s making it worse for everyone, not only for them, but lumalala sa amin din,” he stressed.
Jalosjos also said that he and Suntay to speak and clarify things so that people around them would not be affected by this issue.
Suntay shared that his family has become close to Bea Alonzo through Dominic Roque, The actress would have dinner with Suntay’s family and he was supposed to be one of the “ninongs” of the former couple.
“Kaya nga ako, confident na later on siguro, for the sake of that closeness, yung respect naman yun para sa amin na kaibigan niya, they should clarify this issue, come out, and explain,” Suntay said.
